Calla lilies are one of the most elegant flowers of spring. They have timeless, sleek trumpet inflorescences and white speckled foliage. Use them as accents in containers or as medium sized annuals for borders and mass plantings in the landscape. Callas stay fresh for several days after cutting making them ideal for floral arrangements. In the garden callas perform well if provided with well drained soil, regular watering, and protection from hot summer afternoons.
