Botanical Name: Abelia grandiflora ‘Bella Donna’
Exposure: Full Sun, Part Sun
Abelia ‘Bella Donna’ has a spreading dense, compact mounding to spreading form with cream variegated foliage. From late spring to summer it bears clusters of white, lightly fragrant, tubular flowers. Abelia ‘Bella Donna’ performs fine in average, well-drained soil and a sunny location. It can take part shade, however in too much shade the plant becomes lanky and flowering dwindles. This semi-evergreen is great for mixed containers, shrub borders, or low hedges. Prune selectively to shape or control, but heavy pruning loses the plants natural shape.
